Yes, on September 21, 2021, HCA announced the HCA Healthcare Hope Fund and SaverLife to kick start your emergency fund. The Hope Fund Savers Program is intended to help eligible colleagues build short-term savings and create long-term saving behaviors.

Here’s how you get started:

1. Determine eligibility – Visit www.hcahopefund.com/savers to determine if you are eligible by taking the eligibility quiz. Colleagues with household earnings equal to or less than 400% of the federal poverty level are eligible to participate. For example, a family of four with an annual household income under $106,000 would qualify.

2. Validate – Email a copy of your 2022 IRS 1040 form from your latest tax return to the Hope Fund (see email below).

3. Register & link – Upon verifying your eligibility for the program, the Hope Fund will respond via email and provide a link to the program where you can complete the onboarding process, link your savings account to the secure platform, and verify your account. Just enter your online banking information to begin. Once you have completed these steps, you will automatically qualify for a $20 sign-up bonus!

4. Save – Each month you deposit at least $10, you will earn a $1 for $1 match, up to $40 per month.

The Hope Fund will match your savings up to $40 for 6 months – that’s up to $240! Along the way, check out SaverLife’s supportive community forum, other challenges, and library of resources to build your financial wellness.
