Eligibility, age, and service requirements:

 

As a covered employee of your facility, you are eligible to participate in the HCA 401(k) Plan on the first day of the month after you complete two consecutive months of service, as long as you are age 18 or older. If you are under the age of 18, you will be eligible to participate in the Plan on the first day of the month following the date you turn age 18, if you have then completed at least two consecutive months of service.

 

Entry date:

 

You are able to enroll in the first of the month following eligibility. For example: If you are hired on January 4, you will have fulfilled your service requirement on March 4, and would be eligible to enroll for April 1.   

 

If you believe your work status is unique or work in a facility with different eligibility rules, go to HCAGHR.com, click Benefits, and click on BConnected or call (800) 566-4114 to see if you are eligible to join the HCA 401(k) Plan. 

 

Colleagues at the Brookdale location are not currently eligible for the Remotiv Retirement Readiness program. If you have questions, please contact your Human Resources office.
